Dissolution testing of products is routinely used in the analysis of solid and semi-solid dosage forms in drug development and quality control.
Computerized systems are needed to fulfill data integrity requirements.
In this presentation, the possibilities to achieve data integrity using q-doc and the Xtend systems will be explained.
About the speaker:
Prior to joining SOTAX, René spent 10 years at F. Hoffman La Roche in Switzerland working in the early development of small molecules on the scale-up from laboratory to mini-plant, pilot-plant, up to common production sizes. He also worked on various analytical methods. During his time at Roche, he completed a higher diploma in Chemical Technology.
In 2010, he resigned from Roche and joined SOTAX as a Field Service Engineer. In 2015, René took over the position of Product Specialist for Software Testing and the project lead for the integration of dissolution into the q-doc® Data Management Software.
In 2018, René joined the Product Management team, initially as a Software Product Manager and since June 2019 as Product Manager for USP 1,2,5,6. In this role he is mainly responsible for the Xtend™ Dissolution Line but also for related products such as the WinSOTAX®plus software or the SOTAX media preparation stations.
