Dissolution testing of products is routinely used in the analysis of solid and semi-solid dosage forms in drug development and quality control.
Computerized systems are needed to fulfill data integrity requirements.
In this presentation, the possibilities to achieve data integrity using q-doc and the Xtend systems will be explained.
About the speaker:
Prior to joining Sotax AG, René spent 10 years at F. Hoffman La Roche in Switzerland working in the early development of small molecules.
Scale up the production from Laboratory to Miniplant, Pilotplant until common production sizes.
He also worked on different analytical methods. During the time in Roche, he did a higher diploma in chemical technology.
In 2010, he resigned from Roche and joined Sotax as a Field Service Engineer.
After 5 years, René took the opportunity to move internally into the role of Product Specialist, focussing mainly on software testing.
In this role, Rene was also responsible for the integration of the dissolution part in q-doc®.
Since 2018, he has been responsible for the Xtend™ product family as product manager.
This included all devices for USP 1,2,5,6 and the Media Prep Station.
Since 2022, he is in the position of “Global Head of Product Management for the Sotax Group”, where he is responsible for all product management topics.
