After six years delivering engineering services for major industrial companies, Clotilde Cadot, Export sales manager for South of Europe & MEA, is working for nearly ten years at ERLAB, where she brings her expertise in chemical risk and advises customers on laboratory safety equipment.

ERLAB will present an operational approach to managing chemical hazards in the laboratory, providing laboratory professionals, HSE managers, and decision-makers with the tools to optimize their choice of safety solutions. The goal is to ensure maximum protection through proper risk assessment, appropriate equipment selection, and continuous performance monitoring. During this presentation, we will explore risk assessment methodologies within the relevant European regulatory frameworks. We will also review the key European standards governing collective protective equipment, with particular focus on the new EN 17242:2025 standard for Recirculating Filtration Fume Cupboards.
